Notice 03-02-2026 : The Town of Mount Pleasant will have an Open House and a Special Meeting of Electors to vote on building a Town Garage. The Open House will be held Saturday, 14th of March from noon to 3, with an information session at 1:00. The Vote on the Town Garage will be held Wednesday, 18th of March at 7:00pm. Both will be at the Town Hall, N6975 Marshall Bluff Road. See Agenda page for notices.
In April 2025, the Town of Mount Pleasant purchased 5 acres and a building on Marshall Bluff Road. The building was formerly an Amish schoolhouse and will be remodeled to become the Town Hall. A new Town Garage will be built on the property in the future.
We are preparing to move into the offices at the new Town Hall at N6975 Marshall Bluff Road, Monticello. The board approved moving meetings and elections to this building at the January Board meeting. The next step is to have a Meeting of the Town Electors to approve building a new Town garage on this site. And the recycling bins will be moving here also.
